On the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of Italian Unification

The EMBASSY OF ITALY ISTITUTO ITALIANO DI CULTURA IN PRETORIA in collaboration with the SOUTH AFRICAN STATE THEATRE is presenting a Photographic Exhibition about UNESCO Italian Sites titled, UN.it – Unesco.Italia The exhibition will be opened by H. E. The Ambassador of Italy ELIO MENZIONE. On the occasion the Akustika Chamber Singers of Pretoria will perform some “Arie” of the famous Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi. The exhibition comprises 135 photographs of an esteemed artistic and cultural value taken by 14 artists considered to be the best contemporary Italian photographers, presenting the 44 Italian UNESCO Heritage Sites.
